How to Throw! - The Stance - One Expert's Advice
The stance itself depends upon how the individual feels the most comfortable while throwing, but the best way to stand is with both feet firmly planted behind the "ockey" or line: slightly apart, but heels in line, in the case of of a right handed player, with the left toe pointed slightly to the left, and the right toe pointed directly towards the dartboard. (The revrse for a left handed player, of course.)
One important tip, don't try to impersonate the statue of Eros, with one leg raised, that way you are off balance and lose your accuracy!
